Hiring Research Associate
We are looking for a full-time Research Associate to join our Kolkata (India) team.
The Research Associate position involves key responsibilities aimed to conduct in-depth research, document preparation, information synthesis, content editing, and coordination with stakeholders for successful project support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on relevant topics, global issues, and program-specific details to provide accurate and up-to-date information for the project.
- Prepare documents and tools, conduct meetings with stakeholders, participate during on-ground data gathering and feasibility studies etc.
- Synthesize complex information from various sources into written content including presentations.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating with subject matter experts, project managers, team members etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience working in a similar job profile these include:
- Experience with technical proposal writing, grant writing, or concept note development.
- Familiarity with project report writing and presentation to stakeholders.
- Experience in assisting project teams.
Attributes:
- Technical comprehension, attention to detail and process oriented.
- A creative thinker and problem solver, with the ability to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Strong research and analytical skills and can work to tight deadlines.
- Working proficiency in languages: English (mandatory); French/Spanish will be an asset.
- Travel for work may be required. Should have travel documentation.
Skills and Abilities:
- IT skills using Microsoft and Google suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
- Strong written and oral communication skills
